In Kolkata sweets are necessary for all events. Many famous sweets are there like rosogolla, komola bhog, gulab jamun, chanar jilipi, laddu, sakh sondesh, jolbhora sondesh, kalakad, malpua, jilipi, goja, gujia, kaju barfi, khirer sondesh etc. We all know about those sweets. But sometimes we want something different. There have many reasons like :

• On any occasion like birthday, anniversary we want to serve something new or attractive dishes for guests. For this sweets play a vital role because this is the last item on the menu. So if the sweets are different and tasty so the occasion definitely has a happy ending.
• Tatwa is a necessary thing for any marriage ceremony of bengali. If the sweets look different, those trays look attractive.

Today I share one type of attractive sweet. Which looks totally like grapes. We all know about the fruit grapes and we love to eat. But when we get it like a dessert with more sweet and more beautiful we love to eat more. So grape sweets or angoor misty is another attraction for all. 

• It's made by chhana. So it is very soft. Like grapes it is juicy. The colour of this is also green like grapes. If you don't mention no one understands it's sweet or fruit because it looks like original grapes.

Rosogolla is the famous traditional dessert in kolkata. Any Bengali occasion is incomplete without having a taste of rosogolla. In Kolkata rosogolla was first made in 1868 by Nobin Chandra Das. After that it became popular and took a great place in Kolkata.

Generally we love to eat pure white rosogolla but now we get the varieties of rosogolla like strawberry, mango, orange, pineapple, chocolate etc in many shops of kolkata.
